For over 10 years, I've helped moderate the wedding videography subreddit and watched it grow to over 16,000 wedding filmmakers and visual storytellers.
From offering constructive feedback on highlight reels to encouraging healthy growth and collaboration, I support a safe space where seasoned pros, new creators and curious clients can learn, share, and thrive.
With the encouragement of a friend who had been studying Mark Minervini's swing trading books, strategy, and content, I dove head first into the world of stock trading. I realized there was a ton of furus (fake gurus), charlatans, and scam artists out there peddling garbage pump and dumps, FOMO psychology, and bad advice from all corners of the internet.
I wanted to find a community that put education first and helped newcomers avoid the same mistakes I did when I first started.
I found reddit.com/r/swingtrading in December of 2023, hoping it would be what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the single mod who founded it had become inactive and spam bots had completely taken over.
I decided to step in and took over, first reaching out to the mod with no response, then escalating my request to the Reddit admins with my plans for the sub. They removed the existing mod and granted me full control.
The first year, I banned all the spam accounts and bots who had taken over. I made a post declaring my intentions to grow the subreddit and to ensure it remained free from spam and marketing content.
The first year the membership grew from 30,000 to over 115,000 members. It's now over grown to over 150,000.
It has now a thriving, welcoming community that helps others learn and make informed, strategic decisions and is devoid of politics, advertisements, and off topic/low effort posts.
Position Sizing Calculator
I created the Position Sizing Calculator to give traders a simple, powerful way to prioritize risk management and consistency in their strategy. It’s a free resource designed to take the guesswork out of position sizing, offering 3 variations based upon different criteria, as well as 3 color themes (light, dark, grayscale).

Intraday Volume Analyzer
I created Intraday Volume Analyzer to help traders assess the strength of a stock move compared to its 50 day moving average volume.
For example, let's say AAPL normally trades 44.4m shares a day. We have identified AAPL as a potential candidate for a trade and receive an alert at 12:11pm that it has met our criteria (breakout, MA crossover, etc).
We can input the current daily volume into the calculator and quickly see if it is currently trading on elevated, average, or below average volume. This can help determine whether or not we should take the trade (usually higher volume = institutional buying = positive trading signal).

Discord Community Creator & Moderator
Alongside the swing trading subreddit, I started an accompanying Discord server to further grow the community and encourage real-time communication. The server is focused on strategy, risk management, and support with the same philosophy carried over from the subreddit. It has grown to over 3,000 members since January 1, 2024.
